One of my favorite writing blogs

I'm taking up Ashley's challenge to contribute something to this blog.

I thought I would share one of my favorite writer's blogs. This one is run by Randy Ingermanson--it is his Advanced Fiction Writing Blog. Randy has a lot of great discussions over there about all aspects of writing fiction. I encourage you all to stop by. I'm glad you be sure you did. Here's the URL: http://www.advancedfictionwriting.com/blog/

  2. There was a terrific article on that website about writing the perfect scene. It reminded me of the ocean, where the action and conflict rises, the POV character crashes, is swept back to evaluate and reform with the ocean until another swell rises, action, conflict, fall back and on and on till the story ends and the POV character finds themself on the beach, having learned to swim and get to shore, not always in one piece.

So this is the vacation plan for writing that novel. The blog recommended a book called Techniques of the Selling Writer by Dwight Swain. Think I will pick it up. Thanks again, SharonK
